Join us December 8th
Recipient families will share their stories and receive gifts of support during Riverway’s two church services at 9:00 & 10:45 a.m at Champlin Park High School.
Christmas Miracle Sunday is an annual community outreach event that provides generous gifts to local families with big needs. Working with schools and social workers in the Anoka/Hennepin School District, Riverway identifies families facing specific challenges, then reaches out to area businesses and residents for donations to help these families overcome their struggles. Donations are also used to provide holiday dinner baskets to single-parent families and support other community organizations.
Who We Are
Riverway is a non-denominational church that cares about its community. That is why we dedicate a significant amount of time and resources to be a blessing to those who live around us.
Here are 2 of our initiatives that are highlighted during Miracle Sunday.
Community Focus
We are a caring church committed to being a positive and involved influence in Champlin, Brooklyn Park, and the surrounding areas. You will find us participating in all sorts of community events helping in any way that we can. From festivals to sporting events, we want to come along with the city to help out and be a blessing to this community.
Single Parent & Orphan Advocacy
We care deeply about parents who are raising kids alone and for other kids who have no parents to care for them. We want to be a resource to single parents in our community by offering practical support in multiple ways.
